Thought Adjuster: “You are each other’s mirrors. Have you ever looked at it this way? Human mirrors reflect back at you. Why is it so? Relationships imply an attunement of personalities — patterns of causes and effects. They are based on common denominators — the reflection of yourself in the other person.
“Yet, at times, the mirrors may be flawed or foggy. You have seen distorting mirrors that expand or shrink the objects of their reflection, turning them into ridiculous caricatures. Which is more reliable and accurate: the distorted reflection or the original?
“Life will present you with many opportunities to look at yourself in the reflective mirrors of others’ consciousness. They may be enlightening experiences, providing you with a more objective perspective about the effect you have on others by disclosing to you some of your traits of character — qualities or flaws. However, they may also be inaccurate and very tainted projections on the part of the living mirror, due to its flawed perspective and lack of objectivity.
“Yours is to acknowledge these reflections and scrutinize them for their content of truth or lack thereof. Do not trust them indiscriminately. Rather, take in their input and go within to process it with Me. Truth is the only element of discovery that matters. Anything else can be discarded as irrelevant.
Closing
Look at your life from this perspective. Look at its many revelations of truth — about yourself and about others. Focus on the truth and distance yourself from the distortions and false projections of untruth. Bottom line, you will learn to get in touch with your true self by undergoing this constant inner evaluation.”
