Opening

Trust in the process. Always trust in the process for we created the process for you. I am Amanson. I am here at the appointed time. You called it right – 11:00 in the evening. We laughed at your joke this morning about a lack of need for a watch in our realm. I have come to bring a vote of confidence from us to you, in your ability to carry the mission through, your devotion to the cause. It’s a tremendous asset in our fight (terrible word!) to bring peace and stability to Urantia.

Lesson

I am one who focuses on the depth of Faith, the key element in unmooring the ships of fear from the docks of disappointment. Much sea imagery suffices in these situations for we are truly on a journey across a vast ocean of Consciousness. The boats that make the journey are the ones least encumbered, weighed down, by the mundane cares of the world -- the day-to-day chatter of mammoth unimportance pretending to significance, pretending to be real. What is real are those qualities within a person that reflect out and draw the outer world to it. So nothing comes to us by chance, but is a reflection of our inner world, like seeking like. The Love that is born from within is the greatest quality: the love that settles all matters in dispute, pacifies all feelings of despair, and equalizes all concerns of inequality. This Love can move mountains, build rainbows, staunch lesions, treat all of life’s situations – good and bad – to a regenerating bath of deep re-fresh-ment. A rebooting, if you will.

Now, your assignment in this tremendous mission is to make this Love a reality in your life and the lives of others -- a simple display of heartfelt affection originating in the deepest recesses of your soul. It requires rising higher than your immediate ego-centered concerns to the highest centers of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness – where they originate, exist and thrive. It can be so easy to slip below this register, to stumble, however subtly, into “I want it this way”; “I would be more comfortable here rather than there”. This is not the assignment. The assignment – and you know this – is to make yourself the place – the hollow space – for life to take the shape it would best like to take; to allow others their choice so they may learn from their choices. There will be many choices which will need making in the coming months and you can be helpful, be a facilitator of such choices, your quiet presence nudging others unobtrusively in the direction of Wisdom.
