2024-11-07-A Spiritual Perspective of Political Elections

Session 1

Lesson

Monjoronson: Regarding elections, we who participate in the governance of your spiritual realm have a whole world to consider, not just one nation. We do not participate in your political activities. However, we do monitor human behavior, human motives, and human concerns and then measure their impact on others. So, we are actively observing during these times.

I wish to talk to you from the spiritual standpoint of one who supports the values and laws of the greater universe. Our primary goal is to direct your species toward a path of spiritual enlightenment and progress. We are here to assist the entire populations of those living on and associated with Urantia, not only in your personal spiritual development, but to encourage you to see yourselves as brothers and sisters of all who exist on your planet as well as those who are considered citizens of this greater universe. It is important that you understand that your words and actions have an impact that not only affects all who live around you and who reside on your planet, but also those in neighboring communities beyond your solar system. When you jeopardize the stability and the viability of your planet, you impact the stability and viability of neighboring civilizations as well.

So let us take a moment to discuss what we observe to be key issues following an election.

You may have been surprised because your candidate won or surprised that your candidate lost. Either way, you must consider what your next steps are. What will you do?

Some individuals have made tremendous progress in awakening themselves to their spiritual nature. That is often reflected in their attitudes toward their governments and their attitudes toward the practices that they see are being reinforced, practiced, or denied. So, we see progress from a spiritual and moral standpoint in some individuals.

But when you see in a society an election that is so divisive as you have here in the US, then you begin to get the picture that there is still much work to do. Where some people have awakened to their spiritual identity and have begun to behave in a loving and unified way toward others, there are some who still maintain a very narrow and exclusive view toward their brothers and sisters and who put their personal interests ahead of the greater good. Your spiritual level of growth often reflects the way you vote.

There are still many who receive very little direction, if any, from the spiritual side of themselves. So, the need for many of your species to awaken spiritually remains, no matter who is elected.

This is an important conversation for us to have at this time. Everyone who follows elections has a reaction to the results. They vote and care. Now, each one of those voters may need advice as to what step to take next. Whether you supported the party elected into office or not, please keep in mind from our standpoint that neither party adequately represented an accurate spiritual presence. In this respect, there is considerable room for improvement no matter who was or was not elected.

There may be an opportunity for spiritual progress to be made. When the degree of contrast increases with the decisions being made, many may find themselves awakened to a reality they had not anticipated. In these situations, spiritual awareness can be stimulated in some at increasing speed, creating the potential for more progress. Though there may be rough times ahead, it is not necessarily a total picture of doom and gloom.

Session 2

Lesson

Monjoronson: Your elections reflect what many people think would work to meet their needs. But as we in the spiritual realms know, when you promote fear and express it through anger, resentment, and threats of vengeance, as we observe, you will soon learn that this will not work in effectively meeting the needs of your population.

Many do not understand that by participating in acts of fear incitement, vengeance, and misleading facts to the point of lying, they are still functioning under the influence of the Lucifer Rebellion. It will take those people who understand what is and is not sustainable to point out the importance of ensuring they are functioning from a place of truth. This emphasizes the importance of protecting and maintaining rights and freedoms that allow for individual expression.

Unless you protect the freedom for people to choose, for them to express their individuality without harm to themselves or others, and unless you provide a balanced level of freedom to all, you will never receive the peace and prosperity that you long for.

Once the inhabitants on your planet learn to consider the needs of others along with their own, you will begin to realize that by giving up a small amount of your own autonomy and resources so that others may experience freedom as well, you then put your society in a position where all can benefit and all can experience the freedom that they crave. Only then will prosperity have an opportunity to develop, to grow, and to prevail.

It is about developing an ability to listen empathically and then putting into place compassionate acts that allow you to give up a small amount of your autonomy to compromise so that everyone benefits.

It is about respecting one’s right to choose for themselves what decisions they will make regarding their own bodies. In a world that has not developed to the point that individual rights are secured, taking away this right is a dangerous measure.

Few understand that, at the very least, when your government takes this right away, then it is the government’s responsibility to ensure the protection of all those individuals who may be harmed by this decision and to provide the resources so that these individuals can succeed from the hardship governmental rulings may have caused them. This is not being done.

Your society has not developed to the point that it can adequately put certain practices into place. It lacks the supporting structures as well as the honesty and the care at times to ensure the safety and well-being of all involved.

By limiting one’s freedom to choose in this kind of environment, without these supporting structures in place, you are exercising oppressive measures. Many are subjected to a reality where they are no longer able to make these decisions on behalf of their own convictions. They can no longer ensure their own personal well-being.

Session 3

Lesson

Monjoronson: When there is a moral breakdown in any governing body to the point that constituents are being misled by false statements, encouraged to exact revenge upon one another, and are repeatedly denied constitutional rights, you have oppression. And that is not in the best interests of those being governed, nor is it sustainable.

Not only do we choose not to participate in the political journey with you, but my plans to identify myself to some humans in the near future, are not affected by the outcomes of elections.

Whether you are a citizen of the United States or a citizen of another country, due to the influence that this nation has on the world, you will all feel the effects of this election to some degree or another. As I stated earlier, it will be felt at a global level on this planet and beyond.

So, I suggest to you that to feel comfortable in your world today, you free yourself from total allegiance to one party, one group, and even one country over the other. Instead, open your mind and identify yourself as a global citizen of this world where you are first and foremost a member of one group, the whole of humanity. And in doing that, I ask that you envision what you would like your world to look like and how you would like to exist beyond this world as well. Consider what values you would put into place to support that vision and then model the behavior that embodies these values.

Do not live in fear. But instead, do what you can as one global citizen to demonstrate to others in your families, in your communities, and in your world, the direction that will best move humanity toward an existence that exemplifies truth, beauty, and goodness.

You live in a world that is considered a gem in universal circles. It has a diversity that far surpasses most worlds of nativity. By merely changing your perspective and redirecting your focus, you can transcend many of the harsh realities that exist in your world today and direct your attention to those aspects of beauty that surround you. This will not only heal you, but it will magnify the spiritual light that is growing on your planet. It will infuse others with a sense of hope, of love, and purpose.

I am not saying to put your head in the sand. To serve this world, you must be informed and active. You must be willing to call upon the courage within you to speak up when it is necessary. But as you have been told many times before, actions speak louder than words. Your behavior has the capacity to shine much light in areas of darkness and despair. Though you may be disappointed and discouraged by the state of affairs in your country or world today, your presence of spiritual light is desperately needed on your planet at this time. So, we ask that you demonstrate to others your capacity to be kind, to give, to understand, to love, and to seek happiness even during the darkest of times. Thank you.
