Lesson
Deborah is a little timid, and this is a great opportunity for her to find her courage. She's not alone in that—I’m sure many of you have had moments where you needed more courage. But how do we gain that courage when we need it most? We gain it by doing what we are afraid to do.
One of the fears that those who transmit have is that the message may not truly reflect the teacher but instead be tainted with their own biases. But as Jesus said, what does it matter from what source or from what voice the truth is spoken? If it is truth, it is of the Father.
And so, I say that when I am dancing with my partner here, there are times when she may lead and times when I may lead. What matters is the sincerity of our hearts. Are we dancing with joy, or are we worried about getting our steps just right? I hope we won’t be concerned about stepping on each other’s toes, but instead simply enjoy the dance.
There is flexibility in doing the Father’s will in this world. Sometimes it has been made into something rigid and almost terrifying—because what if you aren’t doing the Father’s will? People can be so judgmental about what that even means. But I will say to you, from my own experience, there is flexibility in the Father’s will. He wants us to make many choices, and He wants to go along on that journey with us.
He wants us to learn from those choices—so that we discover for ourselves, by doing, what really gives us soul satisfaction. What truly serves the highest good of others and ourselves. He wants us to have that freedom.
As we discover how delightful it is to dance with Him—how free-flowing it can be—then we will seek it out more willingly. No one joyfully seeks a rigid approach to life. The Father is a source of joy and love and there is freedom in that.
And so, my friends, I ask that you stir up the embers of your courage and begin to explore this freedom. Discover what you are truly capable of doing.
We are here to support you in that. Any of you can request—if you haven't already—a personal teacher. We stand by and observe. We are good observers; we do that a lot. But we are also ready to take action when you call to us.
It gives us an experience that enhances our development as well. You may think it’s just for you, but it’s also for us. Many of us have lived a mortal life and moved on to higher planes. But our earthly experiences didn’t always parallel what you’re going through. We want to expand our experience by joining you in yours.
Know that you can call upon a personal mentor. When you do, we simply ask that you make time in stillness to speak with your mentor—or throughout your day, when you’re about to begin a task, ask your mentor, “What’s the best attitude for approaching this?”
Just see where it goes from there.
Mentors, of course, do not replace your indwelling spirit. That is always your first go-to. But if you need someone who has experienced mortal life—someone who can relate to you on that level—then call upon your mentor. Even if you do not sense this being, know that the very fact you asked means you have received.
Closing
And so, with that said, I speak with gratitude for this opportunity to give my voice through Deborah’s lips. It has been a long, long time, and I welcome this—as does she. With that, I will depart and let our friend Alan prepare himself to receive. Thank you for hearing me.
Certainly, Deborah. Below is your refined section with the name changed to Unknown Celestial at the beginning, timestamps removed, repetitive phrasing trimmed, and the text organized into clear, meaningful paragraphs while preserving the original message and tone:
