Dear Michael and Mother Spirit: Wish us a Happy New Year. We so cherish your presence with us. You are our true spiritual companions as we go through these lives that you’ve laid out before us. We remember that you yourselves are also children of our mutual Father.

Michael, tonight--on this world of your nativity--we recall we celebrated your birthday just a week ago. Could you please give us a New Year’s Day’s--reflection and looking forward--small accounting of the kind of personal living beings that we are? We are both your and Mother Spirit’s children. We understand we are an eternal pattern right from Havona, but for each of us here tonight, help us be aware of and appreciate the complexity of the living beings we are.

Also, would you care to comment on some purported celestial events that a number of websites have been promoting for several months now? They claim a physical visitor from beyond our solar system--given the name 3I Atlas--and a group of channeled personal beings from a Galactic Federation--to be found on GFL station.com-- are truly from advanced, other-worldly civilizations. I thought I would invite you to comment on these, if you wish. Thank you.

Lesson

Michael: Greetings and Salutations!--my dears. I do wish you all a Happy New Year. As Mother Spirit said in her last lesson, so often your own spiritual traditions, religions, and churches overlook that “happy” part. It’s just the sheer fun of being in touch with your own spiritual natures. These include your creativity and abilities to receive from the transcendent spiritual community, guidance and encouragement, and fun! Fun is a wonderful cosmic gift of God’s! Think of the events and happenings that are self-celebratory right in themselves and don’t need to be a lesson or a guide to anything else. They are just delightful in their own nature. So it’s in this happy spirit that I wish you a fun-filled year to come.

(Urantia Book – Personality Survival)

As for the very kind of beings you are, let me once again refer to that chapter of your wonderful, wonder-filled Urantia Book called Personality Survival. It’s probably the most comprehensive work in English of not only all you primarily are moment-to-moment, but also, being directly God-created personal, with a potential life in eternity. This is the truth of which as we have talked so many times. It’s like God buds off bits of himself and endows them with free will with which to exercise their uniqueness of being. There is no other identical living being in all reality. He shares this with you and this is one of your prime characteristics. You are unique and with this comes its own glory and its own challenges. You are endowed with free will, and you can exercise this by also being endowed with a creative spirit to provide choices.

Just like other spiritual beings you are creative, and what you experience of life is itself a co-creation of yours. This is the glory of having some input in your life, some power to create--right in the stream of time going along--something new out of yourself. This can be a challenge because insofar as you are finite and limited in your experience and your expression of life, there will always remain a part of your soul you’re incapable of totally sharing with another of your kind. It’s what your psychologists called your subjectivity, and it’s always good and humbling to remember you are a subjective being as well as objectively existing. Because you are co-creating all you experience, you are not in touch with God’s pure objectivity.

(Be curious!—there is always more to discover)

Yet you can strive for that. You can orient yourself to be open-minded and, above all, curious!--curious about what life is presenting to you, always hinting that there might be more. There is more to actively search for--to expand yourself and keep growing forever toward a desired objectivity. You wonder how to experience The Other in and of itself as much as you can. This is whether it is your cosmic environment or, above all, other folks, the other people in your life. Strive as much as possible to know them in and of themselves. As Mother Spirit taught last time, know that love is the most divine contact and connection. It’s love’s wonderful ability of self-forgetfulness and genuine curiosity that enables you to share your life with others. Love can give you the truest touch on God’s greatest personal creations.

So: fundamentally you are a personal being endowed with a potential for eternal life, with a creative spirit giving you the ability to formulate an alternative to the reality you are being presented with moment by moment. For it is upon your creativity that your free will depends. You need to create a choice, and make it!--moment to moment, of what you will do next. God gives you this ultimate power and response-ability within your lives. Your equally unique creativity can be your greatest gift to others that they themselves, in their own uniqueness, cannot create.

For a time you are endowed with a physical body. You’ve only to wiggle your fingers to experience how intimate this connection is, and how subject to your will. This is your most objective experience because your living body obeys universal chemical, physical, and biological laws. Yet while it is your most intimate touch and connection with what is objectively real, insofar as it too is a co-created experience by your own unique personality, even your own body is somewhat subjective to you. You lose touch for many hours every day with a blessing--wonderful sleep! Sometimes dreams come from another great aspect of the creative mind you are endowed with by the cosmic mind of the Infinite Spirit.

Her mindfulness is helpfully funneled to you through your Mother Spirit, containing all the dimensions of awareness--the ability to know things and store them as memory, the courage to seek out the yet unknown, the ability to counsel with your fellows. Then come along the higher abilities of wisdom--the ability to use all that you have accumulated by living. There’s the ability of worship, the marvelous choice you can make to feel gratitude for God’s gift of this very life you’re living. Mother Spirit’s augmentations are little boosts in all these aspects of your mind.

Here you are, a personal living being with creative spirit and a physical body which is the summation of a whole world’s biological evolution starting some billions of years ago by your Local Universes’ Life Carriers. Endowed with mind and memory, you also have a spiritual record of your life, a soul co-authored by a discrete, individualized presence of God as part of you. Nothing of spiritual value is lost by God’s safekeeping.

(Already a toe in soulful Morontia reality)

Your soul is something you can tune into in your deepest meditation. For a few precious moments you can set aside your present living and, for a brief time, relive some previous moments of your life. Maybe you’ll be 10 years old again--or 16--and just marvel at who and what you once were. This is your soul. It’s where you already have a toe in the next, more soulful realm in which you will live after your physical death on Urantia. We give this special time the name Morontia Reality. If you want to contemplate and wonder about your life to come, think of it as being more soulful because it too will be through a nigh unbelievable continuation of your God-given co-creative personality already grown your own soul.

Morontia is just that one soulful step more than your present reality, one step more further counter-parted by God. It’s a reality even more full of personal meaning that will continue to expand your abilities. There will be hundreds of changes right in your physical being until you yourself become a pure spirit, enormously expanded but still personal, still you. This is the greatest tease and assurance of all, the spiritual truth that you will always be you to yourself. Your unique personality--right from God--does not change. You will have acquired a soul of living experience, on and on forever.

(Human being and life—one of God’s great ideas)

Welcome, my dears, to being human. Mother Spirit and I always think of human life as one of God’s great ideas. He’s created a whole hierarchy of spiritual beings, extending from you all the way up to Paradise and the Trinity. It was my own great gift from my Father to have a human life myself--of which I too am eternally thankful. I too walked on your world and felt the dust squish between my toes. So, my dear ones, have a happy, fun-filled New Year, and may you know great, really great love with your companions. Now if you have any questions or comments, Mother Spirit and I are always open.

Dialogue

Delores: Hello! I am of course--we are all--interested in what you might have to say about 3I Atlas and its visit to our world. There’s been so many things said about it, I don’t really know what to believe. I hope it’s something from you because that’s what I’ve asked for--for so long--to bring some celestial administration here. Bring something, somehow, that makes our world tune in to a more spiritual life. So what do you have, maybe, to tell us about that, please?

(Be open and entertain anything for a while)

Michael: Yes, my dear. The major thing I can offer, that Mother Spirit and I emphasize so often, is the remarkable quality of your imagination to entertain everything--absolutely anything!--to the best of your ability. This calls for a Suspension of Disbelief, an accepted vulnerability and openness to the possibility to be completely mistaken for a while. It takes courage to knowingly suspend your disbelief and just take it in--whatever it is--wholeheartedly.

Equally important!--you needn’t suspend your critical facilities indefinitely. Just take in whatever it is, entertain it and, as you say, mull it over. Let your whole being, your whole lifetime soul experience make its evaluation. This is how you grow. This is how you reach for objectivity, to know what is beyond your own subject limitations. You just fully entertain things, and others, and feed your soul. Take heart. Have courage. And don’t forget to wonder! Be in my peace.

Delores: Thank you for that, because that’s how you are, aren’t you? You don’t carry us around. Even as babies we have to stand on our own two feet, take those first steps, fall down and get up, till we can finally walk. If you held our hands the whole time we would never learn. There’s your whole life, your inhuman patience that you have for us which is really a gift, you know. That’s your gift to us--the unfolding capacity of creation that’s not exactly human because we always want answers and things real quick. We want to move forward and get-er done, and it’s not always about that. It’s always you got to simmer the soup sometimes. So thank you. That really resonates with me clearly. And I thank you so much, Jerry.

Michael: This is still Michael, for any other questions. I hope you understand that Mother Spirit and I do take responsibility for not deciding things for you. Actually—(I must admit)--we do enjoy teasing you. We love you very much.

Delores: Well, there’s another question that Jerry asked about--the Galactic Federation of Light beings. I have a feeling we have actually been cooperating with them for decades here without actually knowing any names. If you could say anything about them, I would appreciate it.

(Universe Reflectivity between worlds—You investigate and decide)

Michael: Yes, just listen to these receptions of what is being promoted as transmissions from more advanced human--type beings, transmitted across light years of space. Remember your Urantia Book does talk about a kind of instantaneous cosmic Universal Reflectivity between worlds. It was suspended on Urantia for a while because of the Lucifer Rebellion but was lifted recently with the Teaching Mission. This too is something 3I Atlas has specifically claimed--that your world is now being contacted. What fun!—if true. You decide. Mother Spirit sends her love, and I bid you Be in my peace.

Thomas: [Alan] My friends, hello, this is Thomas and I’m here with you this first day of your new year. We look at it differently since we don’t really have years the same as you but we enjoy being in touch with you when you experience change and the turning of a new year for you is, as we perceive, a sense of a new life beginning, a new adventure. So, we look forward to this. We look forward to your new adventure. We are always here with you, we are always available when you reach out to us and we are here to help you with your new adventure to help you find new connections, to find new ways of expressing your spirit love that you gather and you pass on; it is a wonderful whole sense of being a part of this universe of the Father’s love, of Michael and Mother’s spirit.

It is something that you allure here because you are seeking it. You’re seeking more connection, more ability to enhance your lives and pass this enhancement on to others. It truly is enjoyable to us and we seek, as you, to pass our love, our enjoyment onto you that you may pass it on to others. It truly is a beautiful, what that method is called: learn teach, teach learn, back and forth. You open, you receive, you learn and you pass it on, you teach others. It truly is a wonderful method of universe connection, of universe expansion, of love of peace, of uplift for you, for your planet, and it is a joy for us to be a part of this.

So thank you so much. We so look forward to these meetings. You are truly a wonderful group, that we can feel your energy, and we hope that you can feel ours because we are here busily sending out our vibrations to you. Amanson: [Mark Turnbull] on The Futility of Urgency

I am here on the day after Christmas to fill out your inklings on "The Futility of Urgency", a phrase that has been banging around your head for weeks now. You knew there was something off, something amiss about this concept of urgency, something not quite lining up with the tempo of life as you are coming to understand it, and you are correct - urgency is a futile compulsion, for it falls short of the full picture, the picture that includes Spirit's pace.

On the one hand the physical timeline, society's momentum, which can seem indescribably urgent; all observed by what we'll call the 'Invisible Timeless' (Spirit) that actually moves life along, that is life, and that will have its way, a way flavored by the instincts and desires (the intentions) of the players within the realm of time, for whom time's urgency seems paramount, disastrously so. But Spirit, ever calm, creative, responsive, remains unruffled by the nerves and hysteria, the "go faster!" of its earthly counterpart, as the 'Invisible Timeless' makes quiet passionless progress.

Now, 'passionless' is perhaps a curious word (I see you don't like it) [*it's true, I did rather wrinkle my nose] but it does not imply 'devoid of care or concern', for what is spirit built of but care and concern? I merely mean beyond the passions of ego-driven behavior; the Creative in balance, not given to bouts of anger or excitement. You know the oft cited distinction between excitement and energy: the superficiality of excitement as distinct from the driving force that is energy. Well, that energy, that Intelligence is Spirit, the wave that lifts all ships. Is the ocean passionate in its great storms? It seems so, but no, it is man relating passionately, projecting his passions onto it. Just so, Spirit, though the living embodiment of Love, is passionless as concerns the affairs of man. It is not until man implants his or her passions (intentions) within it that Spirit becomes visible, taking on the color, the flavor, the vibration of the individual calling upon it. Thus a partnership is born: human intention seeded in Spirit, Spirit releasing its creative potential and manifesting that intention within the arenas of man, the time/space continuum.

So all of humanity's running in circles, shouting ever louder, demanding this, demanding that in ever higher and higher decibels of urgency will not make a dent in spirit's steady pace until man realizes the partnership demanded of him with spirit. Then, in stillness, where this partnership is forged, effective patterns are created, unfolding naturally, and the Futility of Urgency, the tractionless spinning of wheels, is left behind, embedded as it is within the constructs of time, the very thing that it wastes. And wastes. And wastes.

Machiventa: [Delores] Thank you my dear friend and all my friends here who have gathered so loyally to me. You hear me say many many times how grateful I am for you, for the opening of this portal, for the conditioning of this environment which now stands on its own, very strong, secure, and open. Our hearts are always grateful to you for that because it was an invisible thing that you undertook, with your faith and the curiosity, the seeking of your hearts towards Michael and a better future for your world. I can say now that yes, indeed, the circuits are completely open. There is a little more rolling back to do of the Lucifer Legacy but it is definitely losing for light is winning, the light that you seek, the light that you extend, the loving thoughts and the faith that you put out into your fellowship with each other, with your world.

I want you to know that all of these struggles, struggles for patience, struggles for peace, struggles for positive thinking, are giant steps in the spirit world yet it may seem like nothing on your planet. This is part of the backwardness, the twists that happened where the values were confused. The image that Delores had was a wandering comparison of what life could be like on a world in Light and Life where each person is fostered, nurtured, healed, loved, balanced, nourished every day to be their best and most perfect selves. And then she saw one of the homeless that she’s beginning to work with. Compared to that bright, colorful, loving, was this lost soul, this wandering, suffering, child of God.

Not only the lost sheep but the black sheep, and she laughed and I stopped her, and I said no, this is not a laughing matter because we love you all. What has become of your world? It can be repaired and will be restored and we love you all, those unfortunate ones who suffer, growing up and born in places where there is no nurture, where there is barely any beauty and yet deep inside of them is the solid gold of the Father Spirit and that is what we mine with our love and our care and our teaching you to see, to seek and to lift up. We love you all and ask you to open your hearts and minds and to look for that spark of light, even in the dark places, for life is love and where there is life, there is The Father.

It’s sort of an all-purpose function that covers all situations. So we thank you for your gatherings, for your seeking, for your extending this love and we want you to trust your heart in the difficult times when the habits and patterns of the old ways come between you and the brilliant love flow of the spirit. And just stop and let a new pattern begin to form that accepts the change, that accepts the new awakening, that accepts a new consciousness that’s happening now. Watch for it. Look for the beneficial change and you will see it begin everywhere for we are here. We are with you, you are with us, and the Father of life, the God of love. His will shall prevail, yes, on earth as it is in heaven.

So start this new year with your hope, with your light and let it shine. We love you. We thank you for listening.
