In the lesson 1993-07-25-Forgiveness, JarEl says:

I am permitted to share this with you. However, keep in mind that events on Urantia are taking place at a rapid occurrence.
Given that this lesson is after the Naperville experience, I am curious if anyone here has any information on this materialization in Canada?

This is the Teaching Mission I know and love.
- You must understand the Teaching Mission. It is not designed to impart new revelation. It is come about to restate; to reinforce; to reexamine those teachings that you have already received.
- The Teaching Mission is to bring clarity to you. It is to reinforce those concepts; those ideas; that revelation of truth that you have found in the Urantia book. The text is sufficient.

Thanks Gerdean! I thought that part of the session was most poignant as well. Of course, "revelation" like "evolution" is a process more than a product, and for those paying attention, each moment is filled with new depths of discovery.

Not from me, I have lived over 50 years in Canada and reading the Urantia Book since 1973, and did not know that a Teaching Mission existed until Gerdean and others from the States came to help us celebrate Michaels' Birthday, when I was introduced to the T.M, am not even sure if G transmitted at that time, she did at another time when she came with Angus. A member of our group Tara, began to transmit, but nil about a materialization. The first time I hear about this, are the events of Naperville, so recently discussed here.

Thank you for sharing! It appears that in this case, the record stands without anyone's awareness of what was referenced. I may inquire with members of the Arcadia TeaM to see if they have further input. Otherwise, I will add these comments to the discussion page of the lesson.

To my knowledge Sandy's group was a study group where 'stuff' happened. I have been present on a few occasions as Sandy was the contact person in Ontario for the Foundation, he helped me get our Hamilton study group going in 1978, that was the first time I met him at a U.B conference (August) outside Chicago. My friend, an ex patient of mine introduced me in 1973 to the U.B at work and as her health was failing, we felt very isolated, so I wrote to the Urantia Foundation and upon my question if there were other readers in the area, Christy responded that not for hundreds of miles were there readers, but that there was an upcoming Conference at Lake Geneva? (Not sure of the name). (Imagine Toronto is only 50 miles from here). So my friend and I decided to go and my surprise was meeting Sandy Garrick as one of the first persons there. Interesting how life unfolds.
I am not sure if Sandy knew about the T.M, but we had a gentleman Paul Waterman, who transmitted Diranduor, a high Being in the beginning of 1980sh. Don't remember to much of this. But I will try and see if I can contact Sandy's wife Christal, she has remarried, and see if she is willing to add to this story.

Some info came from Christel: As for the study group in Toronto. We had just moved to Canada from Sweden in the fall of 1975. Joe Pope called, he had heard from 533 that we were moving there and had checked with the phone company. So he pulled together the first group at his place. From 1978-82 we met regularly in our home.
Tim Wylie's book "ETs, angels, and dolphins" ... not necessarily in that order...goes into it at length.
No, I am not at all involved or up on the Teaching Mission....got quite enough of it back in 1982, which is when Paul did his stuff to start with.

Roxanne Andrews suggested that I write you in regards to a question that arose in the context of examining The Teaching Mission: Dialogues; specifically, a lesson entitled 1993-07-25-Forgiveness in which the teacher JarEl said:
"the gathering in Canada. We are hoping for the presence of your Planetary Prince and others unnamed at this event. I am permitted to share this with you. However, keep in mind that events on Urantia are taking place at a rapid occurrence. So prediction of any one thing occurring at any given time or place is predicated on the events and occurrences of all."
Given that this referring to a date after the Naperville event, I am trying to find anyone who may have had some information about this or experience with the event. If you know of anything that could assist in understanding the reference better, please let me know. A discussion page has been started to gather such information, and your input could be most helpful.

Any questions you might have concerning our Teaching Mission group (which consists of myself, my husband Gary, Jean Sommer-Trickey, and Sheree Trainham), would probably best be addressed to Gary (Jean does not use the internet and Sheree wasn't with us during the earlier years). As you probably have experienced, not all Ubook readers choose to participate in the Teaching Mission meetings. Members come and go with the movement of life...we had a wonderful guy, Al, and his gal friend, Vandetta (that really is her name!) who drove in from Syracuse as well, but they also moved away.

I appreciate the manner in which you maintain respect for the different functions of Urantia Book study and Teaching Mission dialogue. It is most interesting to witness so many more Urantia Book study and Teaching Mission groups than known are living out their lives quietly, allowing the truth to become manifest in the course of daily living.
Please tell your husband Gary that I will give him a call to talk a bit as I examine the line of inquiry arising from the editorial review of the Teaching Mission Dialogues. The larger purpose of such work is to uncover the human dimension of this spiritual initiative before too many early participants pass along to the morontia life.
