from tml Dear Rob: a strong God consciousness is indeed observable all over the world. Here in Brazil, to give an example, we had last year two films on spiritual matters that broke historic records of audience in their first weeks of presentation. Almost every day I get acquainted with a new site dedicated to spiritual enlightenment, either in Portuguese or in another of the three languages I studied with love. One of them, sirius.org, for example, has hundreds of transcripts originally disseminated in Russian and then translated into English. There seems to be a myriad of celestial agencies working with these channels everywhere. Since it is simply impossible to read them all, as I would like, I have been reading and eventually translating and publishing some of them, when they have a special significance and apparent urgency. But my preferred work is within the scope of the Urantian movement, and that includes sending to these channels the information I can, to invite them to read the Fifth Epochal Revelation. Not one of them ever refused the UB, of course.
Referring to the magnificent Nordan Symposia site, I would like to ponder on two points only: 1) The Brazilian Group's name in English is Black B(R)ook, with a letter "R", which is the translation of "Riberão Preto" - a dark-colored creek; 2) Riberao Preto is the second largest city in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, that bears the name of the formidable apostle and theologist, Saint Paul. In the site it is said that Riberao Preto is in the neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, but as a matter of fact it is hundreds of kilometers away from the coast. Other than that, all the transcripts are faithfully and beautifully presented as they are and the site is no less than impeccable. Yesterday I filled in the site's form requesting permission to visit and consult it regularly. I am looking forward to your authorization.
Considering that you and I also mentioned the phenomenon of internationalization of spiritual movements originally in English, and that you already have some texts in French in your site, I would like to inform you that George Barnard has been publishing every day, for more than a year or two, excellent one-page messages from the Progress Group in French, Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese, that could eventually enrich the Nordan Symposia even more, for many nations. Only an idea for you to consider, among all the work you dedicate your portentous talent to.
